The Dyson Foundation is pleased to announce renewed scholarship availability for the Certified Nonprofit Accounting Professional (CNAP) program for eligible Mid-Hudson Valley (MHV) nonprofit staff and board members. The CNAP program is a nationally recognized certification program for nonprofit accounting professionals, offered by BDO. With over 2,500 graduates nationwide, CNAP earns high accolades from graduates for its comprehensive curriculum which offers training on every component of nonprofit financial management.
The CNAP program offers both an Essentials course, as well as an Advanced Topics in Nonprofit Fiscal Management course (for those who have successfully completed the Essentials course).

Scholarship eligibility:
A limited number of full scholarships are available to executive, fiscal, and related staff, as well as board members of MHV-based nonprofit organizations who meet the following criteria:
- Individuals currently employed by or serving on the board of established Mid-Hudson Valley-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization who are responsible for financial management and oversight
- Individuals who intend to continue in their role in the nonprofit sector
- Individuals who commit to completing the full course (Essentials or Advanced)
- Board members recommended by the CEO/Executive Director
- Limit of one scholarship per organization
