Amid adult and youth mental health and substance abuse crises and acute provider shortages, the Dyson Foundation awarded technical assistance funding to leading Mid-Hudson Valley behavioral healthcare providers to increase access to care, enhance internal administrative and clinical systems, improve professional development and retention, and support organizational sustainability.
More than $150,000 was awarded to five Mid-Hudson Valley organizations to support tailored consulting and technical assistance projects specific to behavioral healthcare providers. Assessment and consulting services were provided by MTM Consulting Services, a leading national behavioral health consulting firm focused on improving behavioral healthcare operations and client outcomes. With this funding, grantees achieved meaningful progress in improving access to, effectiveness of, and timeliness of care; streamlined and strengthened administrative and clinical operations; increased revenue generation and improved related processes; improved readiness for federal accreditation; and strengthened evaluation and professional development capacity.
