Planning Grants

The Foundation will fund up to $30,000 to a collaborative of two or more organizations that have agreed to enter into the strategic restructuring process.

Examples of how these funds could be used include:

  • developing the restructuring plan;
  • undertaking the due diligence process (for example, examination of the financial and legal ramifications of a merger);
  • completion of related legal work;
  • facilitation of meetings between executive staff and/or board members of collaborating organizations; and
  • executive recruitment.
